Wife bought a 04 206cc allure 1.6 and I have been checking it over and found that on the radiator where is a thermostat but no cable to it? I have looked all round the engine and can't find it.
There are also no fault codes, so is this a different radiator or if not where is the cable?

Do you mean the cooling fan switch? Is the cooling fan coming on when it should? If so, if it ain't broke, don't fix it....

Sounds like your car has had a "generic" replacement rad fitted at some time (ie) One designed to fit more than just your model & year.
On yours, the cooling fans are controlled from the ecu via engine temp sender, therefore no fan switch needed in rad- some other models will need that switch.
