Evening from Brighton.

Post by tony head »

Hiya guys (and girls).
The wife and i recently picked up a 51 plate 206cc from British Car Auctions , 2 owners from new , FSH , MOT till next September 105, 000 miles (quite high) for the bargain price of £700.00 (hammer price) .
Everything with the car is perfect , just had it serviced , new cam belt and water pump .
The wife fell in love with em after my sister bought a 56 plate one in September , now there is two in the family !
Roof works fine , no leaks , but the radio now is asking for a code after the battery was disconnected during the service . I did read on here about the radio's being paired with the car , but this one is definitely after a code ? Would my local Peugeot dealer be able to help ?
Great informative site by the way , thanks in advance ......Tony.

I believe the earlier cars needed a code, yes. I think it was on a blue card together with the original car documentation.....handbook etc. My first port of call would be an official Peugeot dealer who may need the serial number of your unit. It costs nothing to ask them.

Welcome to the forum. Sounds as if you've got a bargain. 1.6 or 2.0?
