knocking sound behind the seats when roof down

just bought a 206cc and when the roof is down when you go over a bump there is a knock sound behind the seats (both sides)
sounds like the glass hitting each other but when i look at the glass when stationary they are not touching

any ideas please

It is usually the rear windows rattling. There is no cure as far as I'm aware. With any convertible you get some flexing with the roof down, and the 206cc is no exception.

had a MR2 roadster previously and it didn't have the rattles, suppose i will have to put up with it then. French build quality!

Build quality? Does the MR2 Roadster had any rear windows to rattle? I don't think so. I've never been 4 up in an MR2 Roadster either. A different sort of car altogether.

My daughter has an MR2 Roadster and loves it. She wouldn't want our 206cc. We wouldn't want her car either. Each to their own.

I hope you grow to like your 206cc. They have character.
