Hi
Hi, a 2 week owner, so far. A 2001 Y plate, 2.0 petrol, full leather red/black upholstery coming up to 80,000 with FSH. Will need a new cambelt soon. Runs sweet and very quiet along the narrow lanes of Cornwall. Bought via Car Auction with auctioneers service guarantee from a large dealership trade-in.

Re: Hi
Welcome to the forum.
That cambelt is overdue!
On the 2.0 engine it should be renewed at 8 years or 80,000 miles - whichever comes first. So it should have been replaced in 2009.
I'd get it changed, together with the water pump and fresh coolant, at the earliest opportunity. If it goes, you'll need a new engine.
