could anybody please confirm expected mpg from a 52 plate hardtop allure 1.6 auto,i have been told a lot of different amounts?that is why i joined this forum so i could hear it from an owner.cheers peter. :?:

When you say a hardtop what do you mean? Do you mean a 3 or 5 door hatchback? Or do you mean a 206cc with the metal folding roof? The specific model name would help please.

Look up your model here. This also gives details but it was printed in 2006 so your model may be different

We have a 1.6 manual and average just over 40 mpg overall.

With an auto you'd get 10% less mpg as a rule of thumb so 35 - 36 mpg I guess.

Perhaps someone with an auto box will comment on their experience.
