newbie boot wont close please help

had problems with the boot/roof everytime i start the engine i get the constant bleep roof wont open and just bu looking at it i can see the boot not closed right ive moved the loops put still nothing checked hydrolics not that so what could it be micro switches ?? im not a machanic by any means but im sure its got to be something simple my friend borrowed the car and he said he tried to get roof down with the doors open please if anyone has suggestions please get in touch thanks kel
