5 month old peugeot in trouble

yes my girlfriends 206 LX with 5000miles up is in for repair i was driving it yesterday and all the power went all dials dropped down radio cut out and dash display reset and was left flashing at zero and the air bag lite remained on the engine did not cut out and it lasted for about 2 seconds and then everything returned back except the dash display still flashing and the airbag sign on i pull over turned off the car and the air bag lite went off then i reset the dash display as it was buggin me flashing peugeot assistance have given her a car until hers is repaired i hope this is not a problem ill have when i get my new cc.

Sorry to hear it Willie as its an age old problem with Multiplex that others have suffered. :sad:

Gareth an Hairdon had similar problems see the "other" problems section under "dead electrics" topic.

Same problem. BSI supposed to have fixed it. Now revs race and as car is auto it lurches forward. It's going!
