My wife has a 2001(Y) 206 CC 2.0L SE, Moonstone Blue/Silver with Red/Black leather interior. We've selling it since we've had a baby however I decided to fix a few things first......
The red leather sections of the steering wheel are worn badly, (it was like this when we bought it), so I bought a black/red 2003 steering wheel on eBay for £80.00 since Beck Peugeot quoted something like £260.00 for a new one. (Please let me know if I can get one cheaper of it you know anyone who will re-trim it
). Anyway, the alloy section where the air-bag mounts to the steering wheel is different on the 2003 steering wheel, and as such I can't fit it. Does anyone know if I can simply buy a 2003 air-bag from a parts place or eBay, so that I can then fit the 2003 steering wheel which is in very good condition?Also, am I likely to get any problems with the fault codes/lights if changing the air-bag?
