Anyone know what this button is?

Hi,

We have just bought a 206cc and cant figure out what a button on the right hand side of the steering wheel does. It looks like some sort of wireless device with an image of a dot with lines coming out similar to .)))) only vertically.

If anyone could let me know the buttons function it would be much appreciated

From your description it sounds like the button to activate external protection only on your alarm system. All explained on or around the last pages of your owners manual.

I have the same button but I have lost my manual.... have tried pressing it with engine on, engine off, battery on, battery off, but it doesn't ever do anything, what is it for?
