Morning all,
I've been having issues with the switch for the roof, to the extent where you have to take the switch apart and squeeze the circuit board (part with the switches and LED) onto the contacts. Unfortunately, the contacts are far too small to me to solder (~0.5 mm) so I'm at a bit of a loss. I'm going to try to superglue (crude I know) the switch together to try and keep the pressure on the contacts, but if this doesn't work I'll have to replace it.
I've seen a switch on ebay for £35, but think that's a rip-off. Does anyone know of any good second hand shops/websites for parts?
Alternatively, I was thinking that a single electric window switch (7 pin) would do. I could pop it open and replace the switching mechanism only... keeping original wiring etc...
Does this sound plausible?
Thanks guys
