Yay - new car - new member!

Post by Sez »

Got myself a 206cc Allure last night and thrilled to bits with it! Very red and shiny. The drivers side vanity/visor mirror is smashed, any idea where to get a replacement? Also do I need to check the fluid for the roof? If so - where is it? It doesn't mention it anywhere in the Handbook.
Where can I get chrome hoops for the rear headrests?
Last point - anyone got an irish number plate? I want to buy one and there are so many companies, I don't know which one to choose!

Thanks

Hi There!
Welcome to the forum!

You can get the mirror bits and the chrome hoops on ebay, I just got some chrome hoops for £47.00 including delivery! Bargain! And the seller has loads of stock of the chrome hoops, so there should still be some on there.

Also theres a guy on eBay that only breaks down 206's and 206ccs and is real good value for any parts you may need.

Haven't got a clue about the number plate though sorry!

Hi guys and thanks for your replies, love this weather, having just bought my CC - hope this is a good omen! :D

I have found some sun visors on ebay - do the standard 206 ones fit ALL 206's?

Are the chrome hoops easy to fit?

RedKev - after having two silver cars, I love the red! It polishes up so beautifully, something that doesn't really show that well on a silver car.

They are well easy to fit!
Took me about ten minutes in total, only tool you need to do it is a 10mm socket wrench, literally they unscrew, pull out the black ones, put the chrome ones in and screw back up.... simples!
