206 Number plate for sale! (may sell with car)

Hi there,

I'm really new to this so bare with me! I am interested in selling the number plate which came with my Peugeot 206 - would be willing to sell the car too for the right offer.

Number plate looks perfect on a 206 (hatchback, estate or cc) car, and I have seen similar ones on private number plate sites going for several thousand. The reference to RBS might increase it's value even further.

The car is a 1999, 1.9 diesel 5 door hatchback. The car is taxed, and the MOT doesn't run out until the end of August. Just replaced the rear silencer box on the exhaust and the front n/s drive shaft. Wheelbearings on the front and rear driver's side are in the process of being replaced this week. Last year it had a new clutch and suspention too. The car comes with 4 alloy wheels (front n/s has one damaged wheel nut hole, but as the wheels are universal it is possible to ignore this and just use the other holes). Similar wheels for sale on ebay for about £200-£300. Had four new low profile tyres about 6000 miles ago and all still have loads of tread. The car itself runs great. I run it on bio fuel (a 50% mix of veg oil and diesel) and have had no issues with it what so ever! The engine is really solid and all the electrics work perfectly. Started first time, every time over Winter and the only thing I had to replace was a front headlight bulb!

It's the LX model so has electric windows, electric sunroof, RCL, airbag, fully adjustable seat/s'wheel etc. Been fitted with a good CD player too.

The bad points of the car.
Mileage is about 129000, although this is mainly motorway miles and apparently below average for a 12 year old car.
There is a key scratch right the way down the driver's side (not noticeable from a distance)
There is a rumbling noise coming from the front driver's wheel, although it is hoped that the replacement of the wheel bearings will sort this.

Will sell just the number plate for £2000, or to save hassle, will sell with the car and alloys as well for £2500. Still another 50000+ miles left in the wee car yet, and the added advantage of the cheap biofuel runnings makes it a fantastic runabout!
