Hi Everyone
I have just signed up today and have noticed a couple of people put down about noisy tappet sound.
I have a similar problem, i have a 206 1.4hdi - 53 plate and it has done about 88k miles
Me dad has had quite a few old cars and has had a few tappets replaced in his time and the sound is the same as that on mine at the moment.
There is no let down with the engine performance it has just become noisier over the last couple of weeks, is it and easy job to replace the tappets or could it be something else??
