Flashing AirBag light

Recently, when the car has been parked up at the station all day in the few days of sun we have had this Summer (last few days!), on starting the engine the Air bag light starts flashing.

This lasts for the journey home - about 5 miles. On stopping the engine and restarting, it works OK.

Anybody else had this? Is the heat getting to the the controls?

I red in a Swedish forum about a problem with the airbag light. But that was after a wash in the high pressure washingmachine. After it had dryed up the light worked again..

Used to have this occasionally on my 1.4LX. Just got used to it! If it bothers you take it to the dealership, can't think it'll be anything serious and if it does indicate a problem with the air bag at least you'll be safe if the worst ever happens.
