Re: 206cc snow pics
Nah I've never seen a childseat in the back of one either, but the anchors are there.... in Australia it's illegal to put a rear-facing childseat in the front of one because some CC's (like mine - everyone who gets in it LOVES the massive hazard light button lol) don't have the button to disable the airbag, and even if you have the button it's illegal to disable airbags out here anyway.

Re: 206cc snow pics
Nope, bottom right of my dash is an empty cavity which fits coins and my phone very nicely. Also, my hazard light button isn't split, it's just one enormous button. I've seen a few CC's out here with the split hazard light button but i think it's disabled... my front seat doesn't have the anchors on it so any children riding in Aussie CC's have to cram into the back, new regulations mean kids under 7 can't sit in the front anyway. The CC is now that much more useless as a family car haha

Re: 206cc snow pics
yeah that's an Aussie CC, i can tell from the new-style NSW numberplate on that white car
or maybe it's silver... anyway the steering wheel is blocking its hazard light button but chances are it's not in two halves
that interior, (low quality camera) is the full red leather, ive seen it once before. there's stranger - there was a black CC for sale in Western Australia - with blackand yellow leather interior! BLACK AND YELLOW!!!

Re: 206cc snow pics
haha yeah we really got the short straw out here.... our CC's don't come in different specs. ours arent called "allure" or "sp" or "s", they're just all collectively called "206CC". we also don't have any Quiksilvers, there's no orange CC's (but there's orange 206 hatches) and the Roland Garros edition never made it to these shores. the only way to define your CC out here is colour, engine, transmission and year, thats it. not that we need to, CC's are extremely rare anywaycraigdmjv wrote:thats really bad lol think all cc's over here have the irbags switch and split hazzard light button unless you have the smaller little screen.....

Re: 206cc snow pics
haha well i learnt something tonight
ive seen the oval exhausts and never known what they were all about. But out here, any wheel can be optioned on any engine and there doesnt seem to be any pattern... All i know of is pre-2004 model 2.0's have the sports front and rear bumpers, and the sports grille while the 1.6's dont, but in 2004 every CC was fitted with the sports grille and bumpers so i had no way of knowing
all i can do is tell the difference between MY04's and non-My04's - different bumpers, different grille, different taillights, different front blinkers, different airconditioning control panel, black plastic bumpers and MY04's have roof strips and a modified seal between the windscreen and roof. MY04 autos also have chrome on the gearlever and a chrome gate with a digital readout on the instrument panel. You learn these things when 2 years ago, you spent lots of time trying to find a good deal on one

Re: 206cc snow pics
i think i may have completely hijacked this thread hehe, i would post a pic of my CC in the snow if it was winter and if it was snowing haha but right now, for the past week all we've had is torrential rain. If i was able to, id post a pic of my CC, doorsill-deep, crossing the floodwaters this arvo haha. Its always epic doing that, the front wheels create 2 massive water arches taller than the car lol. You guys still getting heaps of snow?
