Peugeot 206cc - Coolant Query
Hi all, I have a Pug 206cc automatic, 1.6 petrol. Having just returned from a long drive I have noted the coolant gauge is staying at 70 all the time, I have cold blowing from the vents, but there seems to be no heat...the vents are hot though....no warning lights or anything has come on the dash. TIA

See this post. The originator had similar symptoms:

Is your cooling fan staying on all the while? If not then my initial thoughts would be that the thermostat is not closing properly, or is opening at too low a temperature. I'd try checking that first, and replace it if it is opening too soon, or not closing properly.
At 6 years old it might be worth flushing the cooling system while you're at it, and renewing the anti-freeze solution with a fresh mixture.
