Hi Guys, Please help me!
My reverse lamp is not working, so i tried to change it. I did everything according to the manual, but when it came to removing the lamp from its socket,a red thingy broke. Also, there was no problem with the light bulb. I could put the lapm back, but reverse lamp is not working, and I don't know what to do.
Please, PLEASE help me!!!!!

hi, you may have to buy a new rear light as the curcuit may be damaged

Could be the reversing light switch on the top of the gearbox has failed. A fairly common fault. I have explained how to test and replace it in an earlier post. Try searching my posts.

Thanks Thar. You ok now minimoy? When you get the connector off you can use a multimeter across the switch contacts to test for continuity when you put it into and out of reverse. If there is no change then you know the switch is at fault.
Let us know how you get on.
