Hello,
I friend of mine has recently suffered some bad luck in that a rather large and heavy roof tile has fallen onto her 206CC and badly dented the roof, both the top panel and the rear window surround (the window smashed but has been replaced using copious amounts of glue around the point of impact to make it drivable). Whilst she has fully comp insurance, the excess is very high and not something she can afford. There is also a risk this will write the car off. I have seen on ebay that a second hand roof is around the £100 - £300 mark, which is much cheaper than the excess (providing I can get one in the right colour).
How easy is it to replace the roof? If it isn't too easy me & some other friends may be able to help her out. Also, is there a particular place worth trying specifically for 206CC parts?
Many thanks in advance for any help you guys & girls can give!

I'm sorry I don't know much about replacing the roof but I can point you to the repair index which gives you an idea of what it entails http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/repair-206/index.htm
Good luck!

Re: How easy to replace the roof?
Thank you for the welcome
Interestingly that is the one breakers I have been in contact with as he does ahve a green car in on eof his pictures, and that is the colour I need. After a 10 minute chat, he certainly does seem very helpful.
Thanks for the link to the repair index. Not the most comprehensive guide I've seen, but there is definately some good help there, so thank you.
If anyone else has any helpful hints or tips, they are still gratefully received!
