My roof got stuck down 4 weeks ago, I was driving along with the roof down when the car started making the anoying beeping noise. I pulled over and tryed to put the roof up and it would not budge! So took it to Northampton Peugeot after £80 diognostic I was told as it was an 01 plate it was the old 3 way switch and needed replacing. So I was put down for the part and told it would be 3 weeks max!

I phoned the garage on Monday and they said that it was still not in but to call Peugeot HQ. I called them and they said that they no longer make the car and probebly wont be able to get the part!

What do I do!! I am not only missing this lovley summer but I may naver be able to have the roof down again! Does any one know of anything i can do to sort this out??

Hi Jorussell and welcome to the forum!

Well they haven't said for definite that they can't source one yet. I would think at least one Peugeot dealer in the country (or abroad for that matter) would have this part surely. I think you need to keep chasing them.

If the worst comes to the worst, there's always breakers that may have a second hand one.

Fingers crossed that Peugeot come through...let us know how you get on! :)

Can somebody tell me the price of a hydraulic roof pump for a 206 CC. I cant understand why mine needs one after the roof has only been used a dozen times.
