i have been reading on here about imports,
how does it affect your insurance ? is it dearer,i realise when you come to sell,it may be worth less, but if you intend 2 keep it for a good few years, its worth it.

It depends on each individual company, some accept Uk spec vehicles whilst others won't touch them with a barge pole, just have to phone around i suppose

I found that if you shop around you can get some good deals ,
Tesco , AXA , RAC all offered me good prices - as long as the car is UK spec and RHD - check them out - all have good online quotes systems .
