Many thanks

Hey.

The problem with the 206cc is alot of parts tend to be dealer only with silly prices.
The best thing to do is look at find a part sites on the web but not ebay. ebay tend to be used parts and you may find
the same problem you had.

My daughter has just had all 3 replaced on her 405 Estate. Cost £55 + VAT through a Peugeot indy.

You will prob find that it was £55 + vat with it being a 405 estate.
Prices tend to be more on cc cars.
I paid £95 for a rear engine mount dealer only

We have found some on Ebay, £45 for all three rods, new ones made from stainless steel.
I will let you know if they are any good when they are fitted ;)

I finally got around to fitting them today, sorry for the delay ;)
Anyway, they are not hard to fit as long as you can get under the car. A pit is best but it can probably be done with the car on ramps.
All you need is a couple of large pry bars about 18" long and a hammer. The old ones "pop" off but the new ones are popped on then held in place with a wire type clip.
They needed no adjustment just a smear with some copper grease before fitting.
It has made a big difference to the gear knob movement  its still not "rally car gear selection" but no more guessing what gear you are going to get :rotfl:

So the 3 for my daughter's car fitted at £55 weren't bad then. Stainless steel ones would be more expensive I guess.

Glad your car is much improved too now.
