I have recently had problems with my roof, i lowered it a few weeks ago to clean my car out and when i'd finished it wouldnt come back up, it just gave a constant beeping when i pressed the roof button, then had to put the roof up manually, checked over everything and couldnt see a problem but the rear heater stopped working so i thought maybe electrical fault, its been driving me mad as everytime i would drive it wouldnt constantly beep at me! i had another look and noticed that the two white loop clips that hold the boot lid down where not in the right place, for the roof to function they need to be positioned into the top holes (if your roof still doesnt work by itself they need to be in bottom holes to lock the lid) once i had done that the roof returned to normal and has been working fine, beeping has gone and rear heater works again, sometimes the white loops can pop out of place when the doors or boot are slammed. Just thought i'd join and post this so peeps can try this first as main dealers charge stupid amounts for roof problems. Good Luck.
