mine is a 2002yr auto transmission 206cc. sometimes the transmission locked in the 3rd gear. it wouldn't ascend or descend until i turned off the engine and restarted the car. any of u ve this problem before? i did change the trans. fluid but the problem stays. Is this a sign prior to the trasmission breakdown?
Have driven automatics for 40 years without encountering this problem. Obviously an inherent fault with the solenoids. Always seems unfair that manufacturing defects like this cost the customer, normally occurring when out of warranty. Thanks for advice.
yes i got onto peugeot uk when i had read about a lot of cars with the same
problem but they said it wasent a fault with the gearbox?? but they dont put the
same selenoids as replacement they say they are obseleat
