Roof will not lower.

Hi,

Hoping somebody out there can help me. Have read and tried lots of the other roof problem solvers but it has not worked. The roof will not lower nor will the windoows. I just get a beeping sound from inside the car?
Routine
Unlock car
open boot
pull across the shield
get in car
start engine
wait
unclip roof
hear a beep for the unclipping
press the butto to lower roof.......

NOTHING just bleeps

Desperate please help

You say you start the engine... Are we not supposed to lower roof with the engine off?

I have been lowering mine with the engine off, key in ignition and turned but not starting or having the engine running..?:thumbs:

Tried..... Didnt work!
It has been working fine until last week, then nothing but bloody bleeps!

When operating the roof I ALWAYS have the engine running. It takes a fair bit of power to operate the roof and it would be easy to discharge the battery.
Sely: it sounds as if you have a defective microswitch. I'd get it checked out at my Peugeot service agent or main dealer.

So when you pull the botton to lower the roof, can you hearing the motor going in the boot or not?
Or is there no motor noise?
