Is there a way of inspecting the timing belt on 2.0 SE ?

I just wondered if there was a way of inspecting the timing belt without taking the cover off ?

I didnt get all the history of the car when I bought it and so am unsure when it was last changed.

can visually check if the belt is worn even if you coild remove the cover. thats why change intervels are set.
if you are unsure of the car history?then it deffo makes sense to have it changed.
