People,

My GF has a 2000 cc 2.0 litre model.

The windscreen washer pump has stopped working. Whenever I pull pack the stalk the wipers move but no water comes from the jets and there is no whirring noise that I would usually get from the bottle area. Can anyone please advise on a known fault etc and if possible how I get to the pump to remove it if required.

Many Thanks

If you tried to use the washers while the fluid was frozen you've probably blown a fuse.

Hi All ,

New to this forum but I think this is the place to be as a lot of problems seem to be getting fixed .... thanks in advance !!! I too have the washer problem , no noise when I pull the stalk towards me , no water comes out , I suspect a fuse , however when I look at the fuse box ( have the 2002 cc model ) fuse 14 comes up as 10A engine fuse box - air bags - steering wheel stalks- Rain sensor

No mention of windscreen wash pump ??? is it integrated in with another fuse ,

Chatted to a mecanic and he said straight out the wash pump needs to be replaced , but would love to rule out fuse , if in fact it exists on my fuse box of this model

any suggestions gratefully appreciated

Carol :)
