Hi
As a new Pug owner, can anyone tell me if they have changed the bulbs in the heater display. Once it gets dark I cant see anything on the heater display. I've had a quick look through the fuses and cant see a blown one and there is a very faint light behind the display.
Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the forum,

How old is your car? I assume that you have tried adjusting the panel lighting rheostat?

If that does no good then the heating/ventilation control panel illumination bulbs have probably blackened with age and need replacing. You'd be best to buy a Haynes workshop manual no. 4613 which explains the procedure in Chapters 3 and 12. I wouldn't fancy attempting it without reference to the book.

Thanks G
Yes, I've adjusted the lights and everything else is nice and bright. I'll find a manual and try changing the bulbs.
Its a 2001 206cc which I bought for my wife for Christmas.. luckily she passed her test on Wednesday!!
Looking forward to readin through the forum to learn a bit more about the PUG's.

Cheers and appreciate your help!

Congratulations to Mrs GA on passing her test. Let's hope we have a dry and sunny spring & summer so that she can make the most of her new car. Make sure she reads the owners manual thoroughly, as many problems with these cars are self-inflicted and can be avoided.
