hi all, im new to this and am looking for some advice. i bought my car in january and loved it but at the moment im having so many problems its really starting to get to me :( first of all the roof broke about a month ago, the RAC came out and put it up manually, its still not been fixed yet, then while driving the other day my window was down and it jammed, had to force it up as it started raining, it seems to be working fine now though, now the car keeps beeping at me while driving saying the boot or roof is open and its affecting the central locking, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. im leaving it into the peugeot garage on monday and dont want to be ripped off as i dont really know that much about cars so any advice would be much appreciated.

It really sounds as if you're going to have to trust your Peugeot garage. Many problems with the roof can be self-inflicted by owners who don't read the owner's manual thoroughly. Your's could be one of many things. Let's hope your garage is one with a good reputation.
You don't tell us anything about the car you own Niamh, nor where abouts you are located, so it is impossible for anyone to comment with any real knowledge.
Fingers crossed, and good luck. Let us know how you get on.
Oh, and welcome to the forum - nice to have you with us.

so i left my car (2003 reg) into my local garage (colliers in erdington, birmingham) and they said the problem was caused by the boot latch sticking which as a result was effecting the central locking. they said they had fixed it but if it happens again i would need a new boot switch. sure enough on the way home it starts beeping at me again saying the roof isnt closed so its back into the garage tomorrow. the lady has told me its gonna to cost roughly around £80 so at least thats not too bad.
