I need a new middle section exhaust for my 2.0SE.
Have previously tried the replacement from the CAT back and have had no end of trouble since with the the exhaust blowing etc.
Can anyone recommend a decent replacement that won''t cause an anti-pollution fault and won't cost a main dealer type fortune?
I live in Paignton, Devon.
Thanks.
New exhaust needed.....

A recommend make of exhaust (eg Bosal) would be useful.
I have been quoted ranging from £140 + VAT to £450 + VAT & fitting and am not sure why there is such a wide range of price when none of them are genuine Peugeot.
£140 + VAT would be nice but I don't want to go for the cheaper option and then be plagued by anti-pollution faults!

I can't say that I blame you Steve, especially after the problems you had 18 months ago. Your car must be 7 years old now and spread over that time a £600 exhaust system isn't THAT expensive. It's just writing out the cheque that's painful!
I hope it all goes well.

The wife will be happy at not having to drive around sounding like a boy racer!
Now all I have to do is sorrt out the annoying intermitant ABS/VDC system failure warning on the Alfa 147 and we will all be happy.
