I have a 52 reg 206cc and at the weekend I tried to retract the roof, pulled across the net in the boot, windows up, ignition on, opened the roof catches and got the bong to say they were open. Then I tried to open the roof using the switch and got the beeping noise. It isn't even trying to open at all.
My boyfriend had a look at it and played about with the net in the boot and managed to get it to work after a few attempts. The next day I tried and it won't work again!!
I contacted our local peugeot dealer and they say it will cost £75 to put the car on a diagnostic machine, I would rather try to solve the problem myself first if this is possible!!
Having read a few posts on here I am thinking the problem lies with the microswitches in the boot?
Please could anyone offer advice, it would be much appreciated.
