Hi,

I'm New! Thinking of getting a 206cc! I already have a 206 GTI but want a convertible now! x

Go ahead - you'll love it!

I've driven bog standard 206s as hire cars but never driven a 206GTI - I imagine you'd find the 206CC a little sluggish by comparison (the folding roof makes it heavy) and there is a little bit of body flexing with the roof down, but I love it. I have a 2001 1.6 model that I bought 2 years ago and am very happy with. Mind you it was a low mileage one owner car with full service history and had been maintained by the same dealer from new.

Grandad Monkey and Reap are the best to advise - this forum is great for helpful hints and you can usually find the answers to all your questions just by browsing!

2 litre 206cc has same engine as the 206gti just a heavier car, but 1.6 is good enough imo
