Hi Guys,
I have a 2.0 cc on a 53 plate...
Its electronics is completely messed up....basically the engine is turning but not cathing. it has only 26k on the clock...now alan and day (peugeot) have told me 2 things...
1) one week in and they dont know whats wrong with the car
2) that i might need a new ECU unit that costs around $1000...please please please advise me and help....
Can/should I score a 2nd hand ECU unit? is it worth it? do you know anyone who might be able to look at it?

I wonder if it could be as simple as a faulty crankshaft sensor?
What would have caused a complete electronics mess-up? Did you get water in the ECU or drive through a flood or something? Just what did happen?
If Peugeot have had the car for a week and don't know, and the electronics ARE all to pot, my little knowledge won't be of help to you.
