I'm new to this site as I became an owner of a 206cc earlier today. Purchased a 206cc Allure 1.6 04 plate for 7k from Bristol Street Motors. It's only done 16,000 miles so I thought 7k wasn't at all a bad price. Ok, so the problem I've noticed straight away is that my window doesn't allign properly with the back one and is leaving a 2mm gap, although it's been raining all day today no water has leaked into the car jusr yet (touch wood). I rang them up and they said to bring it back in on Monday and they will reallign the door. Is this a common fault or is the car faulty?? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reply ASAP as I'm really worried. Thanks guys!!

Thanks for your reply
I took my roof down to show a few friends and now that I've put all the windows back up it seems that the gap has got bigger. Seriously cannot believe this has happened within an hour of me having it. Is it a major issue and has yours caused you many problems??? They said they will reallign the door for me and if necessary put a new seal on free of charge (hopefully) do you think this should sort it out???

It's a bit early for the engine/gearbox mountings to be worn. If BSM have sorted the window for you why not ask them about your concerns re: gearbox.
