:)

Hi, i've read all the posts regarding this (common?) fault but can't see a firm solution.

Our car is 2002/02 2.0 petrol cc and is showing the anti pollution warning in the center display and mgt light on the dash.

The car drives 100% normally without any judder or power loss.
So far the cat has been changed (had the manifold mod done too as this was rattling)
We have changed an oxygen sensor, the one nearest the engine (Up stream, pre cat one?).

Does anyone have any suggestions what we should try next as it seems we could spend money replacing perfectly good parts with new ones on a trial and error basis without getting it resolved :(

The reason we had the Lambda sensor replaced that we did (nearest the engine one) was because this was the one peugeot said they always sold and rarely sold the other one!?! Not exactly scientific I know! lol
After we had this sensor fitted and the management scanned and fault codes deleted the lights stayed out for about 150-200 miles before it came back on.

If anyone can help it would be most appreciated :)

Thanks

It is a bit quiet, isn't it!
Sounds as if deleting the fault codes just shut down the warning display until the fault occurred again, and that it wasn't the lambda sensor that was faulty.
Perhaps you need to book it in to a Peugeot specialist for a more scientific diagnosis.
Reap may be able to suggest some possible issues but as you have found it could be one (or several) of many.

Cheers for the response Ron. Good to know i'm not the only person on the forum! your job must be pretty simple at the moment hey ;)

I think i'll have to get it into a specialist and see what they can make of it.
Thanks again.
