Brake light not working

Hello,

I have a 1998 1.4 206 and have experienced a problem with the brakes. Well, one to be exact, my right brake light has stopped working. I immediately thought of the bulbs and changed it. Whilst walking to halfords I noticed the bulb was actually fine but replaced it anyway. The brake still isn't working.

I then thought maybe it's a problem with the pedal but the other two are working fine.

Please can anyone help me?

probably a loose connection on the wiring loom connector that goes into the light assembly, checking that would be a good start
