Hey Guys,

I am new here and I'm hoping to buy a 206cc 2006 plates. I have been reading about the leaking roof problem etc. I was wondering if these problems had been addressed in the 2006 model IE did they use better seals ?

Cheers,

Bee

Hi Bee, welcome to the forum.
We have a 2005 car and have never had a leaking roof.

Welcome Bee,

It definitely seems to have improved towards the end of the production life, but my 2006 recently leaked in the snow... That being said, it was 4 inches of snow sat on the roof for 3 days so it's pretty much worst case scenario.

Thanks for replying! I figured that i will ask the dealer if we can test it with a hose lol. Does anyone know of any 2006 cars being manufacturer recalled?

Y plate here and never leaked!

I think its luck of the draw, although mods were indroduced over the years. Like rain gutters and different rubbers, which I think were designed to stop sqeaking as apposed to leaks.
