206auto 1.4 temperature problem?

hi! im a new peugeot 206 owner,a 51 3door auto.im just wondering about the temperature gauge it always go beyond 90.and goes back to 90 when you use the dimister or switch on the fan.ive check my coolant and its on the normal range.any advice?thanks!

Hey had this problem with my cc it also came up wit a warning message saying engine collant temratre to high got my car checked and it wasent overheating just needed a new tempraturge gauge cost me about 13 from pug should short it :D

Are you sure you don't mean a new temperature sensor Jamie? I can't see how a new gauge would've cured the problem.
