Hi all! new to this site and just wondered if any 1 could help me with something?? Im the proud owner of a 206cc Quicksilver 55 Plate! Its my pride and joy that ive had just about a year and a half! the only problem is the past 2-3 months ive got a rattaling/banging sound coming from my passenger door im not sure if its towards the back of the car or more actually where the door closes? ive looked everywhere but not really sure what i should be looking out for just wondering if any 1 has had this problem as ive searched on here and cant seem to find anything?? Hello Jamie, welcome to the forum. If it's from the door itself then is there any difference if the door window is up or down? If so it could be window related. If not then the connector from the inner door handle to the lock mechanism could be rattling (I've had the sound deadening material come astray on other cars). To get at that you'd need the door card off. Another source of a rattle from the door can be the door stay (at the front) when they get worn, but I've never had it happen on the passenger side as they normally get less wear (except on taxis - not many 206cc's used as them though!).
If it's from behind the door then it could be related to the rear window and its operating mechanism. If so does it make any difference with that window up or down?

i have had a rattle for a few weeks and finally found the door trim is coming loose don't know what to do about it you mght have the same prob??
