does anyone have problems with their factory fitted alarm? mine just goes off at random times, its not because of the wind or anything driving past. is there a way i can turn the sensitivity down on it ??

Hi Laura, can you disable the interior sensors seperately & have you got anything hanging from the interior mirror?

If so, try turning the interior sensors off, as whatever is hanging inside the car could be triggering the sensors. :)

hi thanks for the reply, no i haven't got anything hanging from anywhere inside the car so i really cant understand why it randomly goes off , a friend of mine suggested that it might be a slight movement of the roof but im not sure if it could be that or not

Thinking about it, have you got an aftermarket stereo fitted & does the car struggle to start after the alarm sounds?

If so, it could be that the constant live feed is draining the battery very slightly, thus when the battery loses a certain amount of charge, the alarm activates as a low battery warning.

If not, it could be a dodgy sensor.

Hope that helps. :)

hey you could be on to something there, yes i do have a live feed going on and i only ever used to set the alarm at night after work and it always used to go off around 3am, so maybe it is a slight power drop thats causing it. al look into it , thanks
