HI,
I have a JVC DVD/CD Headunit from my old car which i want to put into my 206cc which i recently bought. I took the original clarion headunit out and connected the two blocks from the car into the two blocks on the back of the head unit. There is power to the headunit and it seems to work, but no sound comes out of the speakers? Can someone help me with this problem, i have asked friends and they cant think of anything. It is really frustrating. I have read some of these forums on an adapter that allows the use of the steering wheel stalk which state that there is an adapter that works with sony head units, but is there one that will work with my JVC head unit.
Many thanks in advance.
Please someone, i just need help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello
Did have a problem like this when I was upgrading to a pioneer head unit. See the thread below:
http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?id=10759
There is a "remote" cable which is blue from recollection and would need to be connected from the head unit. The unit may come with an adaptor loom with ISO conns on the car end and the head unit's own mating connector on the other, and this lead was not connected on mine, so needed to be connected to the ISO block on the adapter loom. I didn't get any sound until I connected this, which is a 12V feed that powers up the sub-woofer and its amp. If you have a cc with the integral JBL speaker system this may fix it.
The stalk adapter wouldn't be connected with the sound problem. I went to in-car express for my kit and they are very helpful regarding the correct adapter you need, as there are a number for Sony, JVC, Pioneer etc.
Hope this helps.
