Micro switch in boot left hand side

Can anyone help I have 2002 cc.

The microswitch that tells the "brain" that the boot curtain is in place has broken. The part is about Â£15 and pug garage want to charge Â£60 for fitting as they say it has to be reprogrammed. Is this true or can I just replace the switch.

can do yourself and carry out a full manual resync,if thats switch is at fault? all should be well

I have had micro switch problems and replaced these myself without any problems......

hi, where is the roof alarm sensor please, is it costly to replace as mine keeps beeping
