Was parking on a main road so decided to push the wing mirror in as per usual ( this is stiff at the best of time )
I heard a crack - oh oh
Cut a long story short - the electrics of the mirror still operate, so no problem there - but the hinge is very loose, not sure if it has come off a bracket or something. A little push in either direct and the wing mirror moves, whilst previously it was pretty solid.
The little rubber pad underneath seems to have gone - not sure if thgis was just covering up a screw - was it important? It may have been pushed further inside where I cannot see it
Should I bring it to a dealer to fix or is this something I could look at myself
Any help ( as usual ) is appreciated

I've had the same problem, you have my sympathy.
Could you tell me if that came with just a primer paint job or did you specify a colour?
Also do you know how I go about getting a primed mirror painted as primed is all I can find out there.
The monkeys at Pug want £280 to supply, fit, paint and install a new cable loom. This is not the £114 initially quoted to lure me into the garage.
Any pointers would be grately appreciated.
