Hi everyone!
I need some advice on an aftermarket radio.
The problem is we have limited aftersale service in SA so my best options are JVC, Sony and Rockford Fosgate, Alpine is also available but way to expensive.
I need a unit that is iPod ready aswell as stering control ready for a 2005 206CC Roland Garros. I would also prefer the harnes to be compatable with the HUD.
Most of the installers here dont seem to care about the busines so all I get is that "I'll phone you back" line and then never hear from then again.
I would apreciate any advice.

Pioneer is available yes.
JVC is the most common by far I can get anything realy even Clarion but the reps are kinda fligh by night and then I'll have problems with warranty's, aftersale service etc. I don't live in a city the size of Johannesburg or Capetown so I am limmited to the only two real decent installers one specializes in DLS and Supernatural Sound or Infinity the other mainly Rockford Fosgate both install's JVC, Sony, Xplod, Alpine the problem is their is there are one or two suppliers in the whole country who imorts the stalk extensions mainly for JVC and they cost aprox R1000 so nearly 120-150pounds.
If needed I'll have somone bring it from the UK, Australia, Arabia or the Far East cuz sometimes I think their are more South Africans abroad then left here.
So if you know about a decent pioneer let me know and I'll see if it is available here then maby import the stalk connector later.

I recently fitted a pioneer head unit and adapter to my 206cc and have got display and stalk control. See the topic below:

The pioneer I went for is a DEH-P700BT. This one has bluetooth audio streaming, usb and ipod.
