Hi
Having just bought a secondhand 206CC I have found that the remote for the central locking does not work, I have changed the battery but am a little confused as the hand book states one battery for the single button remote but then mentions "batteries" for the deadlock remote with 2 buttons mine is the 2 button type but had only one battery in,can anyone help please?

You will need to reprogramme your remote control. Look in your handbook around page 69.

Try this set of instructions I was given a while ago when i had the same problem

1, Ensure all the doors are unlocked using the key

2, Press and hold the remote button until it stops flashing

3, After releasing the button the L.E.D. light will light constantly

4, Press the remote button once and the L.E.D. will turn off

5, open drivers door and hold the remote near to the ignition slot but do not put key in

6, press the remote button once

7, Now turn the ignition on for 10 seconds and then turn it off again

8, After 5 seconds the remote should work again

Hope this works for you, keith :thumbs:
