I wonder if any of you guys can help?? Kate & I have a CC which has seen it's fair share of troubles since we bought it new last May.Lots of squeaks from the roof/windows, leaks etc as well as a new clutch. The car has been back with our dealer once again to sort some things out and on picking it up today I got told that several of the items that we were unhappy with - eg: scratched bumper due to mis-fitting boot lid, side window edges scratching badly etc etc will not be sorted as neither the dealer or Peugeot feel that they are a manafacturing fault - GREAT!!! I left the dealer less than impressed and need another dealer that can help look after us and the CC!! (we're on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk but will consider travelling!)The car has been inspected by Peugeot and the guy I spoke to there P***** my off even more by his attitude - bottom line - not his problem so tough!! Not good having spent £16K on a car. So, have any of you got a really good dealership that you trust??? Moan over!!
Other than the 'faults' we love the car and are glad to be CC owners - by the way, we've got a Cherry Red model and up to a week ago had only seen one other but now we've seen another one in Norwich - does anyone using this site own that car??
Also we parked behind an Aegean Blue CC Y plate at Silverstone on Saturday at the Toyota on Track day - do you own that car and did you enjoy the day??
Thanks for your help and sorry if I went on a bit!!!
Michael & Kate (PS Hi Julia - long time no chat!!)
Is there a decent dealer anywhere???

I think there are three fundamental problems to be fair:
1. Dealers don't seem to understand the meaning of 'service', in either context
2. I honestly believe the support they get from Peugeot is lacking, and that basically Peugeot go out of their way NOT to recommend and supply replacement parts as this affects their margins!
3. Even when parts are authorised, they tend to take days or weeks to arrive
If you do find a good dealer, let me know?

Hi Michael (Grooviest teacher around!!!)
Sorry to hear about your unfortunate dealer!
I would envy someone to write a book - The best Peugeot dealers in the country!
The worst peugeot dealers in the country would be in editions as it would be so long!!!
The "Charters" group seem to have improved on Customer Service, so if you have a Charters near you, give them a try.
Happy CC ing and see you around!

Athelston in Cirencester . I can not fault them. only been back for minor gremlins and there are allways pleasent.
go back a few years .. I had just bought a 306 cab from them, it went back after 1000 miles to have the roof tensioned (standard thing) and when it was there, they got a recall notice from pug france. apparently the car had dodgy hubs that would fall of at speed. They took everything apart ready for the parts to turn up from coventry the nest day - the parts didn't and the car ended up there for 7 weeks waiting for the parts (not the garage fault) and during that time they gave me the only other 306 cab they had (brand new as well) with no restrictions. constantly phoning me to let me know what was going on as well. in short love em. Hence buying the 206CC from them with ZERO hesitation.

Hey I went to the Toyota On Track day in my Blue CC - but that was last year.
We had a GREAT time
As for the bumper rubbing, my 1st CC reg no Y 882 BBC had the same problem and my dealer (Blackshaws) sorted this under warranty.
Speak to Steve Jones at Peugeot Customer services and explain you know Peugeot paid for anothe customers car to be repaired. Quote my name and reg number - I am sure he will remember me. Dont worry I found him the most helpful Peugeot employee EVER

Hi Rob
Thanks for the info, I may well give that guy at Peugeot a ring. I guess it's then up to my dealer to do the work so I may have to go back and be nice to him!!
Toyota on Track was great, very well organised - can you imagine what a Peugeot on Track day would be like - could they find 30 CC's that were all A O K???
How are your Puma's - any faults dare I ask!! If only the CC was 100%. The idea is great and suits us fine rather than having a fabric soft top but the niggles on a car of that cost is not so good.
Sorry to hear about your Nan by the way - been there and know what it's like - take care.
Michael
