My electric windows don't go down when i open the door

Hi there,

I'm new to this forum so not sure if this has been covered before. I have recently bought a 206cc on a y reg and love it. The only problem is that the windows don't go down when i open the doors. Therefore when i close them they don't go under the seals. Has anyone any suggestions as to what i can do ? (apart from go back to the garage i got it from cause they are useless !) Please help !!!:)

the windows dont go down like that on a 206 cc. they do on a 307 cc.

Well thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Thought all convertables did that but not to worry i'll just keep closing it the way i have been. While i'm on, can you tell me why my roof got stuck half way ? i ended up having to drive home on the motorway with my boot open. Bet i looked like a right wally. Funny now but wasn't after a long 8 hour day at the office !!
