Hi there
was wondering if anyone could help????
i bought my 206cc about 2mths ago, which i absoltuely adore, apart from the slight leaking problem when i 1st got it, but luckily that has now been resolved! i bumped into a post last week and took it to the garage to get it fixed and they have quoted me £358 to get a new wing panel! i took it somewhere else and they had a second hand wing that they would fit for £180! the 1st garage that i have been going to for years said the best thing would be to order a panel online and then they would fit it!
would anyone be able to help me?what would be the best thing!!should i get a panel of the internet?and if so what is the best place to get them from!!
Gutted!!!

Welcome to the forum Elizabeth, sorry to hear of your mishap.
When someone reversed into ours it broke the headlamp too. Needed new OSF wing, headlamp and spray to bumper. Cost about £650 including VAT. That was through a good independent bodyshop. The culprit paid up without going through insurance.
I wouldn't go for a 2nd hand panel myself but that's up to you. See it before you decide.
Online panels? Might be ok but you can't see before you buy can you?
I'd go to a reputable repairer and let them source the panel. That way if it begins to rust you can go back to them and expect to put it right.
My opinion only, but you did ask.
Other folk may differ.
