Hi all,

New to the forum but after a quick read i was able to stop the beeping of the roof. so thanks for the help. but even after manully setting the little pointing pin that goes into the hole inside the boot lid near the hinge, it still misses the hole if i try to do the roof electricly.

What i want to know is will losing the two bolts that hold the "hole" in place and moving it around help as there is slack for it to move once the bolts are lose, or will i end up making it worse?

If not does anyone know some cheap garages that might be able to help with a 206 roof in north london.

Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question, nor do I know North London. Perhaps if reap comes on he'll be able to answer your technical question.
Welcome to the forum. How did you stop the beeping by the way? It may help someone else.

I used the alen key that comes in the boot, to release the pressure in the pump i think, by stickin it in the white hole on the back of the boot and turning it anti clockwise. with the boot open i then poped the lid up and manully lined the pin up when puting it back down. and turning the alen key clockwise after i was done.
