Electrical 206CC problems

Whenever passenger door is opened, interior light blinks on and off. Can't remember it doing this normally - have i only just noticed it? Anyone else have this problem? And that's with the door wide open as well before anyone says its the switch thingy (sorry - not a technical person)

My light blinks when the door is not closed properly and the car is moving ...

No, its when the door is opened (either wide open or not) and just blinks until door is closed again...

yep I get this...only noticed the other day while trying to move off with the passenger door slightly ajar. I think it's a normal feature
