Hi Guys,

Wonder if you lot can help me solve this nightmare problem, it happened a few weeks ago but I thought nothing of it, but happened again today causing more of a problem…

Basically, i made sure the shelf was across in the back, started the car, pulled the latches open and held the roof button… the windows DIDN’T go down but the roof still went back… (thought this was bizarre but kept my hand on the button) the roof folds down in the boot as normal but no beep to signal the completion. Anyway.. I keep my hand on the button and could hear the motors doing something but nothing beeped!
Tried to put the roof back up and start the procedure again but the roof wouldn’t close properly over the windows. (the windows would not go down even though I tried several times!)
So I was stuck with the roof either down and not shut properly or up and not shut properly… the beeping wouldn’t stop to tell me that something was wrong, eventually after waiting about 10 minutes the windows freed so I could put the roof up properly…

Peugeot cant accept the car until Friday and want to put it on a dianostic machine… now im bricking it over costs!
Can anyone help diagnose this? Anyone experienced it!? Only had the car 2 months. Little 52 reg.

Cheers
Char. x

The microswitch that site under the clasp by the parcel shelf in the boot is bent which apparantly is causing the malfunction in the roof...

my local garage told me not to go to peugeot direct as they will charge a small fortune.. where can i buy this from?

thanks for the help guys....

Why not ask your local garage, sounds as if they know of a cheaper supplier. Only about £35 from Peugeot aren't they?
